I am happy to accept the role of an honorary patron of the 7th International Flute Competition in Cracow and I deeply believe that it shall be a lucky seventh edition.

Every three years, Cracow, thanks to this great event gathering outstanding masters, adepts
and students of the flute, becomes a city of beautiful music and delightful interpretations,
which reflects the idea of harmonious coexistence of tradition and modernity, art and life.

The Competition opens new directions, sets new trends, helps develop unique sensitivity
and supports friendships among its participants and guests. To all the above it owes its highest prestige in terms of the artistic level and organizational matters.
